Shirley (Fraze) Parson

Shirley Parson, 82, of Newton, formerly of Estero, Florida, died Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at Traditions Memory Care in Newton. No services are scheduled at this time. Memorials to the donor’s choice may be left at the funeral home.

Shirley, the daughter of William and Virginia (Smith) Fraze was born August 2, 1941 in Tyler, Missouri. Previously she had lived in Fort Madison and Estero, Florida and most recently Newton, Iowa.

Shirley is survived by her daughter Denise (David) Keys of Prairie City; step-children, Jennifer Sussman of Orlando, Florida, and Kevin Parson of Cape Coral, Florida; and grandchildren, Stephen and Virginia Keys. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Richard Parson.
