Stephanie Lynn (Wright) Sparks

Stephanie Lynn (Wright) Sparks, 39, of Newton died on Thursday, April 15, 2021. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 21, at Newton Union Cemetery in the SW corner of the cemetery. Memorials in Stephanie’s name (checks made payable to Vicki Wright) may be left at the graveside or the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory.

Stephanie, the daughter of Rodney and Vicki (Mouchka) Wright, was born on November 22, 1981 in Newton. She graduated from Newton High School in 2000.  Stephanie had worked in logistics for the Maytag Company, at Aces Teen Club, and for DHS.  She enjoyed sports including, soccer, softball, and snowboarding. She also liked to create sculptures and crafts.  

Stephanie is survived by her daughter, Bailey Sparks of Newton; parents, Rod and Vicki Wright of Newton; her brother, Jonathan and Amanda Wright of Carlisle; maternal grandma, Jane Mouchka of Newton, and paternal grandpa, Jack Wright of Newton. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandma, Mary Wright and maternal grandpa, Bob Mouchka.
