Timothy Taylor Obituary

Timothy “Tim” Taylor, 59, of Newton died on Sunday, March 22, 2020, at MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center. Services will be held at a later date. Memorials to the Jasper County Genealogical Society may be left at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory.

Tim, the son of John and Lois (Sieg) Taylor, was born on March 7, 1961 in Newton. He graduated from Newton High School in 1979. Tim worked as a computer technician at the Maytag Company for 20 years and later for Underwriter Laboratories, retiring in 2019.

Tim is survived by his siblings, Juanita Huffman of Portland, Oregon, David Taylor of Newton, Annette Hall of Portland, and Jannette (Steve) Morris of Portland. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary Shenton; and brother, Charles Taylor.
