Brian Lundgren Obituary

Brian M. Lundgren, 57, of Newton died on Sunday, July 15, 2018, at his home. A celebration of life will be held from 6-8 p.m., Sunday, July 22, at the Norwoodville Community Center, 3077 NE 46thAve Des Moines. Memorials to Brian’s family may be left at the celebration.

Brian, the son of Rene and Marilyn (Mitten) Lundgren, was born on July 10, 1961 in Des Moines. Brian worked most of his life in construction and enjoyed music.

Brian is survived by his children, Brian Lundgren, Jr. of Des Moines and Allison (Alan) Edwards of Indianola; granddaughter, Kendra Lundgren; his mother, Marilyn Polke of Des Moines; sister, Brenda Lundgren of Des Moines; niece, Victoria Lundgren of Des Moines; and girlfriend, Ronda Souder of Newton. He was preceded in death by his father, Rene Lundgren.
