Juli Ann McCumber, 54, of Newton, died on Sunday, October 13, 2019, at MercyOne of Newton. A private family celebration will be held at a later date. Memorials to Juli’s family may be left at the funeral home.

Juli, the daughter of Robert and Sharon (Wickliff) Seals, was born on September 21, 1965, in Newton. Juli was a dedicated home maker to her life partner, William “Bill” F. Straight, and mother to her three children, Amy, Adam and Aaron. She enjoyed playing the Wii with her grandchildren, gardening, bingo, garage sales, Sunday drives, occasional fishing and her many beloved cats.

Juli is survived by her children, Amy (Jeremy) Dack of Newton, Adam (Cassey) Straight of Lynnville, and Aaron (Latisha) Straight of Albia; grandchildren, Kristin Klingensmith, Lilly Dack, Willow, Tyr, Sebastian, Clover, Skie and Jace; partner, William “Bill” F. Straight and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandmother, Margaret Wickliff; grandfather; and uncle, Gary Wickliff.
