Craig, the son of C. Max and Leah (Peery) Sparks was born December 22, 1950. He grew up in Sully and was a graduate of Lynnville-Sully High School. He worked at Vermeer for 40 years, retiring in 2010. Craig moved to Pella in 2017. Craig was a member of the Masonic Lodge and a life member of the Harley Owners’ Group. Craig love to travel and ride his motorcycle to any far away destination. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Craig was known for his big heart and will be missed by all.

Craig is survived by his cousins: Chris (Angie) Peery of Newton, Lori (Craig) Davis, of Colfax, Susan Garner of Belleville, IL, Sarah Townsend of Freeburg, IL, Sallie (Barry) Madden of Van Meter, Stephanie Hartman of Earlham, Sam Sparks, Jr. of St Louis, MO, and Terry (Jane) Fleener of Broomfield, CO. He was preceded in death by his parents.
