Obituary

 Per Sharon’s wishes, no services are scheduled. Memorials to the ARL of Iowa can be sent to the family or left at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory in Newton. 

   Sharon, the daughter of Virgil E. and Edith A. (Kinart) Reynolds, was born March 17, 1951, in Newton. She graduated from Newton High School in 1969, and then served her country in the U.S. Army. She later graduated from AIB with a degree in accounting. In 1993, Sharon graduated from Vennard College with a degree in psychology. Sharon had worked at Newton Manufacturing, Progress Industries, Clements Associates, Capstone, and Newton Daily News. Sharon loved animals and enjoyed listening to and singing gospel music. She had attended the New Life Community Church of the Nazarene and Cowboy Church.

   Sharon is survived by her son, Ryan (Jody) Eaton of Newton; daughter, Bryne (Jason) Whitcher of Newton; her grandson, Benjamin Whitcher of Newton; step-grandchildren, Megan (Joel) Vos and Josey (Troy) Van Weelden; 5 great-grandchildren; and her siblings: Jack Clement, Jamie Wilson, Brenda Schaper, and Georgia McClure. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Randy Clement.
