Vickie Lee Needham

Vickie Lee Needham, 71, of Urbandale, formerly of Newton died on Thursday, July 8, 2021, at Unity Point Iowa Methodist Medical Center. A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory. Memorials to the Moose Lodge may be left at the funeral home.

Vickie, the daughter of Kenneth and Fannie (Vance) Ruple, was born on April 22, 1950 in Newton.  Vickie was united in marriage with Timothy Needham in Unionville, Missouri. She was a lifelong resident of Newton.  Vickie was a lifetime member of the Moose Lodge and had served as a Boy Scout and Girl Scout leader.  She enjoyed painting, baking and playing Bingo. 

Vickie is survived by her children, Jeff Needham (Joy Dugan) of Monroe Center, Illinois and Jodi (Jeff) Lamison of Fountain Hills, Arizona; her grandchildren, Ashley (Jamie) Coady, Levi (Molly) Needham, Garrett Lamison, Megan Lamison (fiancé, Chase McDonald), and Max Dugan; her great-granddaughter, Scarlett; and brother, Kenny (Ann) Ruple of Omaha, Nebraska. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Timothy Needham; a sister, Rose James; and a brother, Jim Ruple.
