My mother was a resident of Nelson Manor for over 6 yrs. She passed away in Dec. of 2015. I still go to Nelson Manor with my friend, Marilyn Deutsch who plays the piano & I sing for the residents & I saw a lot of Gertrude there. She always enjoyed our "music sessions". She always looked so pretty & had a lovely smile; The last time I saw her, she let me push her wheelchair out to the dining room. I will have fond memories of her.
