My deepest condolences to Jay's family. Unfortunately, we never had the chance to meet. Jay's grandfather John Heath was my Great Uncle. Prayers for Jay's children, mother, and wife.

Jackie, words alone cannot express how terribly sad it was to hear of Jay's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time and will be into the future. Jay was your everything and there were no limits to your love for him or your grandkids. I am praying for you and the kids; that you may have strength in the days ahead.

I have to say Jay was a true friend...he was never too quick to judge anyone and was always available to talk to. I remember apologizing to him many times for going on and on about whatever was on my mind only to have him say "that's what friends are for." I feel like I am a better person for having known him. He will be missed

Jay was a very close friend. I remember all of the times at the airport we would spend talking, and when he would come to my place near Martensdale. Loved the day he brought his sons to my hobby farm to play with my animals and just have fun. Just spoke to him on the phone a few weeks ago. I will so miss talking with him and spending time with him. Rest in peace great friend.

So sorry to hear of Jay's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. I was a classmate of his at Colfax-Mingo. He was a gentle giant with a big heart. He was quite the football player in middle school and high school.
I remember seeing him while he was working at the airport several times and he would always take time to talk to me and ask about my family. I remember he spoke very highly of and was quite proud of his own family.
