John, Sharon, and family, - I truly admire the things your dad did and what he found important. I can see he had an impact on your lives. I am sorry for your loss but I am sure there is a spiritual legacy left for you.

Thank you for posting the video. The memories from my childhood are many and I don't know where the years went. I have thought about your family many times through the years. Dick and Lola are together again.....and Susan. I just read about her son........so very sorry for all the loss. May God give you great strength and love at this very difficult time. I miss talking with you on fb Nancy.

To the Dick Bergeson Family
I would like to express my love and respect for Dick. Over 50 years ago when Chuck & Fern Axtel moved to Omaha, Dick and Lola took over the responsibly of leading a bible study with Doris and myself. This was an important time in our Christian life. The personal bible study later turned in to a group study. Most of the men in that study have also received their eternal reward.
As I looked back over the last 50 years and think of Dick and his character. He was a man who really displayed the fruit of the spirit. His unselfish giving of his time to help such a large number of people over his life time is remarkable. As I thought of his strengths which were many, I also thought of his faults, or should I say the lack of his faults. If it were possible for a man to earn a ticket to heaven it would be Dick. He would be the first to tell you he was only a sinner saved by grace.
I visited Dick the day before he died. He was in good spirits and I was surprised when I heard of his passing. We talked quite often about his desire to see this journey on earth to end. He was really looking forward to being reunited with Lola in heaven. We always spent time praying for the needs of our family’s. One special request he mentioned on Thursday was that he would be faithful is sharing Christ.
I will miss him as I know you will. We can be comforted by knowing he is in a good place.

Dick had an incredible impact on my life as a young man. He was always gentle and gracious and set a great example of how a man should act. The Christian values he shared and taught will always be remembered. See you in heaven my friend and "brother".

Dick, you were one of the most godly men I knew. You were always such an inspiration to Jeff and I. I know you are finally where you have longed to be for a long time. See you in heaven!
