We believe in the Ministry of funeral service. Offering each family an opportunity to select and personalize a service that both honors their loved one but also celebrates their unique life in a way that is most meaningful to the family.

Arthur and Fritzie Wallace and Albert and Helen Wallace started their funeral service to the Newton area in July of 1963 when they purchased the Toland Funeral Home. In their, over 40 years of service in Newton, they not only served many families, but were very active and involved with the community. Fritzie passed away in 1982, Albert in 2007, Arthur in 2009, and Helen in 2013.

Gary and Pat opened the Wallace Family Funeral Home in its current location in 1999. Through the years, the funeral home has expanded with the addition of a larger lobby, spacious visitation and social rooms, and most recently an on-site crematory.
