Gary A. Wallace

Owner, Funeral Director, Certified Cremationist

Gary is a 1975 graduate of Newton High School. He graduated from Worsham Mortuary School in 1987 and became a licensed funeral director in the state of Iowa in 1988. Gary is a member of the Masonic Lodge, Elks Lodge, and the Emerson Hough Chapter of the Izaak Walton League. He enjoys traveling and going to Blues concerts.

Pat A. Wallace

Owner

Pat is a 1973 graduate of Lynnville-Sully High School. She owned the Coffee Cup Café and SOS in Sully until 1990. Pat was then a Realtor in Newton for 20 years, retiring in 2010. She enjoys her and Gary’s eight grandchildren, traveling, and being involved in the community.

M. Chantelle Lundberg

Funeral Director, Office Manager, Licensed to sell Preneed Insurance

Chantelle is a 1995 graduate of Newton High School, 1999 graduate of the University of Nothern Iowa, and a 2005 graduate of DMACC Mortuary Program. She became a licensed funeral director in the state of Iowa in 2006 and a licensed insurance agent in 2008. Chantelle has been active in many community organizations and boards. She is married to Brett Lundberg and they have three children, Dylann, Derek, and Chase.

Christa J. Vander Weerdt

Funeral Director, Licensed to sell Preneed Insurance,

Christa is a 2003 graduate of Lynnville-Sully High School and a 2006 graduate of the DMACC Mortuary Science Program. She became a licensed funeral director in the State of Iowa in 2008 and licensed to sell pre-need insurance in 2010.

Brett Lundberg

Funeral Director's Assistant, Certified Crematory Operator

Brett is a 1999 graduate of Newton High School and a 2004 graduate of the University of Iowa. He is a member of the Newton Elks Lodge and involved in coaching youth sports. Brett is also a licensed insurance agent. He enjoys being involved in the community, coaching, traveling, attending events at the Iowa Speedway and Knoxville Raceway, and most importantly spending time with his family.

Gary "Wally" Price

Gary is a 1971 graduate of Newton High School and received a Associates Degree in Retail Marketing in 1973. Wally began working at the Wallace Family Funeral Home in 2004. He is married to Bev and they have two married sons, Jeff and Jason, and four grandchildren. Gary helped form the Newton Area Soccer Association and is active in all forms of motorsports. Gary retired after 14 years in April of 2018.
