Dear Rick & Renee, Polly and my mom Jeanetta Dykstra rode to Newton together almost everyday for at least 20 years. Mom working at JC Penney and Polly working at Coast to Coast. It seems God had a plan, Mom and Polly both leaving us on the same day, Wed Sept 13 and we celebrated both of their lives on Monday Sept 18. We as a family extend our sympathy to both of you and know that they took that last ride together talking all the way just like they did on the rides to Newton everyday many years ago.

Dear Helen and family, I am so sorry for your loss. As I read Laura's obituary I recognized many of your family's names, and since I was raised in the Percy/Monroe area I am also familiar with the Herwehe name (without the 'e' at the end) since my Dad's Mother's maiden name was Herweh (Edith Cowman).
